GIA: The Hidden Gem

GIA: A Small Café With Big Potential!
I recently paid a visit to a little café called GIA, which I found out about on Instagram. GIA is Kuwait’s new Mediterranean café, newly opened its doors on October 20, 2013, Owned by a Kuwaiti family. Located in Al-Khaled complex in Salmiya, this new concept café serves healthy, fresh, light, Mediterranean, mostly vegetarian food. When you visit GIA you will experience the luxury of fresh food and cozy atmosphere. There is no need for menu at GIA’s, appetizers, main dishes, and deserts are displayed beautifully in a window, along with a big basket full of fresh fruits and vegetables ready to be picked out and juiced for your special order. Because GIA want their customers to see the real ingredients, GIA has got nothing to hide; it’s all there in front of you! And for those who are in need to read a menu, it’s actually written on the wall! That makes it easier to walk-in for a quick lunch or dinner. The food at GIA doesn’t stay for very long, people are constantly are coming in for a pickup or to dine in, the food is that good! GIA’s are famous for their quinoa dishes, GIA frappe “iced latte”, and chocolate crack cake; it’s all so addicting! If you are a fan of Dean and Deluca’s then you’re totally going to love GIA. GIA opens from 12pm to 10pm, pay a visit, you will thank me later!  And watch the video below to know how was my experience at GIA’s, one word to describe the food and the little place: Divine.
